DESCRIPTION Amazon is looking for energetic and enthusiastic candidates to join the fast paced world of European Financial Operations in Bratislava. We’re not an average retailer and this is definitely not your average finance position. We’ll give you the opportunity to really make a difference to our business by working on and initiating projects in a fast-paced environment and ultimately delivering results. The biggest focus area is Accounts Receivables within our customer relationships with emphasis on financial transactions, such as invoices, credits and cash application. The successful candidate will be responsible for cash application in cooperation with our finance operations management. Key job responsibilities · Timely allocation and reconciliation of incoming payments to customer accounts and invoices, matching open items to receipts · Maintain strong relationships with our clients and internal partners to ensure timely cash management and a high degree of accuracy · Research unpaid or disputed amounts and work with Sales, Finance and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies · Investigate and resolve unallocated and unidentified receipts, process refunds · Resolve queries from customers and internal stakeholders regarding receipts · Support the month end close activities relating to cash allocation Skills, know-how and experience Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1300+ gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Must be fluent in English • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service focus. • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with minimal supervision • A drive for continuous learning and self-development • Attention to details PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Fluent in one EU additional language • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies or other directly related areas • Previous Account Receivables, Customer Care, or other customer facing department experience Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
