Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides technical direction guides the team on key technical aspects and is responsible for product tech delivery - Lead the Design, Build, Test, and Deployment of components - Where applicable in collaboration with Lead Developers (Data Engineer Software Engineer Data Scientist Technical Test Lead) - Understand requirements / use case to outline the technical scope and lead delivery of the technical solution - Confirm required developers and skillsets specific to the product - Provides leadership direction peer review and accountability to developers on the product (key responsibility) - Works closely with the Product Owner to align on delivery goals and timing - Assists Product Owner with prioritizing and managing team backlog - Collaborates with Data and Solution architects on the key technical decisions, architecture, and design to deliver the requirements and functionality Position Qualifications: - At least 13 years of experience - At least 3+ years of AWS experience - Hands-on experience with AWS services- S3, EMR, Glue, Jobs, Lambda, Athena, CloudTrail, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, Step Functions - Extensive experience with EMR databases such as Glue, Catalog, Lake Formation, Redshift, DynamoDB, and Aurora - Required skills: AWS, Python, Spark, Pyspark, and Panadas - Infrastructure as Code technology- Terraform/CloudFormation - Experience with Secrets Management Platforms like Vault Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $109,000 – $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
