Job Description Infosys is seeking a Application Support Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel. - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. - At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. - Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in the Canada are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time. Preferred Qualification : • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience • Application support working Experience: SQL, Datastage, scheduling tool • Working knowledge of service-now ticketing tool • Experience in Production Support • Experience in ITSM-incident, service request and change management. • Ability to solve production down situations under tight SLA deadlines, including root cause and problem resolution follow-up • Ability to support multiple applications simultaneously. • Ability to effectively run a triage call to resolve issues on time within SLA deadlines. • Proactive in identifying, escalating, and addressing project issues and risks • Working with Offshore teams in 24*7 environment. • Excellent Problem-Solving skills and an Entrepreneurial Attitude • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Moderation skills-meeting facilitation and discussion • Ability to create and present report for weekly/monthly status • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment • Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment including weekend if required. • Work with Offshore teams as escalation contact in 24*7 environment • Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours. • Planning and Co-ordination skills • Good Communication and Analytical skills • Good to have experience in Unix • Preferred Scheduling tool experience on BMC- Control-M • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment • Experience in Financial Services domain • Good analytical skills • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. • Knowledge of Hadoop is an added advantage About Us Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
