Position Summary... What you'll do... Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience (ADE). We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally. The EBS – Technology Health team has the herculean task of assuring that customers can safely shop with peace of mind knowing their data and information will be safe and secure. Solving some of the most unique cyber security problems in the industry, our team members share an elevated level of creativity and ingenuity to secure data for one of the largest e-commerce operations in the world. As a Data Analyst with Walmart, you will monitor data movement by utilizing data loss prevention (DLP) tools in accordance with internal policies. This includes analyzing alerts, finding correlating contextual datapoints, and determining the appropriate path moving forward for one of the world’s largest networks. You will have the opportunity to protect the data of millions of customers, associates, and Walmart’s ever-expanding infrastructure across the globe. In this role will be protect and defend Walmart and associate data against inadvertent or malicious data loss to help safeguard customer trust and enterprise continuity. What you’ll do: - Demonstrate an understanding of information technology and cybersecurity concepts and utilize critical thinking skills to make informed, actionable decisions. - Analyze data using provided tools, evaluate the level of risk associated with the activity, and articulate the details of the identified activity to various stakeholders.  - Build an understanding of security threats and DLP ensuring coverage and detection exists across multiple layers of technology to improve the overall cybersecurity defense posture.
